Elliott loves grocery shopping, particularly at the Whole Foods Market near Logan Circle. It's his favourite shopping destination for two reasons: the pint-sized shopping trolley and the demolition-site view (diggers! dozers! dump trucks! cranes!) from the eating area. We make a special trip once a week so Elliott can free-range and gather what he needs. Apparently, that would be (and this is exactly what he chooses each time, following the same route around the store) a banana, prunes in a purple canister that doubles as a drum, yoghurt in a little green tub with a sheep on it (baa!) and a pack of vegetarian sushi rolls. At the checkout, he takes his special red shopping bag with dinosaurs on it out of the stroller and hands it to the cashier. Once his purchases have been packed, he carries them to the eating area, selects the table with the best view of the demolition action (down comes the facility for wayward adolescent boys, up goes an art museum, got to love Philadelphia) and happily picnics on his bounty until the workmen take lunch.

Just went through all the posts and thoroughly enjoyed them! You take great pictures! I suppose it helps that you have an incredible master race model.
Can Elliott come and help me with my shopping please?? :)
